AMANDA BLAKE DAVISWriter, Lyrics, Music

is an actress and writer living in Los Angeles. She is a veteran of The Second City in Chicago, where she wrote and performed in five original revues. Shows include Campaign Supernova and Studs Terkel’s Not Working, for which she won a Jeff Award for Best Actress in a Revue. She also co-wrote the original musical Broads on Boards (Annoyance Theater, Chicago). She improvises regularly with Baby Wants Candy and Virgin Daiquiri.

JODY SHELTONWriter, Music, Lyrics

was a musical director of the Second City National Touring Company and performs with renowned musical improv ensemble Baby Wants Candy. Jody has released three critically acclaimed solo albums and most recently launched his latest recording project, Daughter & Son. Jody also served as musical director for Cuts – An Uplifting Musical, Nicole Parker’s Suitcase Full Of Lies and Colleen McHugh’s Calendar Girl.

ASHLEY WARDWriter, Lyrics, Music

hails from Conyers, GA. She performs with the critically acclaimed Baby Wants Candy all around the world. Ashley is a proud Striking Viking Story Pirate and a Jeopardy! champion. She holds has a degree in Musical Theater from Webster University St. Louis and recently appeared in the NYTVF selections “Actualized” and “Sweet Misery” and in the upcoming feature film “Breakup at a Wedding”.

DAN WESSELSWriter, Music, Lyrics

is a Los Angeles-based composer, songwriter and teacher. As a music director with Baby Wants Candy, he’s improvised hundreds of musicals in Chicago, around the US, and in the UK. He currently works as resident composer and music director for LA’s “30 Minute Musicals”, which produces new musicals every other month, and as music director for The Second City Hollywood. is a Chicago-based actor, director, and singer. Rob recently directed “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill” for Porchlight Music Theatre. Rob has appeared in productions at Goodman Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre, Long Wharf Theatre, Asolo Rep, and the Ravinia Festival. Rob won a Jeff Award for his performance in “Oh Coward!” (Writers’ Theatre) and has performed with Baby Wants Candy in Chicago and New York.

has performed (Chicago, Titanic, Beauty And The Beast, Song & Dance, Tenderloin), choreographed (Dracula The Musical, Wrong Mountain, Titanic, Five Course Love) and directed (Soul Doctor, Music In The Night- A Tribute To Jerome Kern, Broadway By The Year 1937 and 1972) on Broadway, Off-Broadway, TV (“Law & Order Criminal Intent)”, and her regional work has won 10 Bay Area Theater Critics Awards. ANDREW ASNESExecutive Producer

is an entrepreneur and theatrical producer. For Broadway he has been a producer of The Color Purple Musical, Legally Blonde the Musical, Superior Donuts and All My Sons, as well producing tours and international productions of The Color Purple Musical and Legally Blonde the Musical. His production company financed the Original Cast Album of Legally Blonde the Musical. Previously Mr. Asnes was a principal dancer with The Paul Taylor Dance Company, Twyla Tharp Dance and performed in the Broadway productions of Contact, Jumpers and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels as well as in several television programs and films. Brett McDonaldProducer

is thrilled to be working with Dartmouth colleagues, Samuels and Asnes, in producing this wild show. With a background in law, finance, and fund raising, Brett also studied at HB Studios in NYC, and has played a number of forgettable roles in community theater productions. Mercifully for the audience, he was repeatedly denied any stage role in our show.
